Über Husky

Husky is a rapper from Irkutsk who first posted music online in 2011 and gained a cult following with the 2013 album Sobachya zhizn. His theatrical delivery and bleak, poetic portraits of provincial Russia made the 2016 video for Pulya-dura and the 2017 album Lyubimye pesni (voobrazhaemykh) lyudey landmarks of the genre. In late 2018 a string of his concerts was cancelled by local authorities. His 2020 album Khoshkhonog was followed by Revansh, written for Kirill Serebrennikov's film Petrov's Flu.
