Über Horslips

Horslips invented Celtic rock, fusing traditional Irish reels and mythology with electric guitars and progressive rock ambition. Formed in Dublin in 1970, they built concept albums around the Irish epic the Táin and toured relentlessly through the decade. Their blend of jigs and riffs influenced everyone from Thin Lizzy to U2 and laid the template for Irish rock identity.
