Über Haustor

Haustor were the arty, reggae-inflected wing of the Zagreb novi val, formed in 1977 around singer-songwriter Darko Rundek. Their debut single Moja prva ljubav made them stars, but albums like Bolero showed a band closer to world music and theatre than to punk. Rundek's later solo career in Paris only deepened their cult, and Haustor songs remain touchstones of Croatian alternative culture.
