Über The Halluci Nation

The Halluci Nation, known until 2021 as A Tribe Called Red, are the Ottawa First Nations DJ collective who invented powwow-step: traditional First Nations powwow drums and singing layered over electronic dance music. Their work has soundtracked the Indigenous resurgence in North America and won them a Polaris Music Prize and JUNO awards. They renamed in honour of the late MC John Trudell.
