Geolier is the voice of a new Neapolitan generation, a rapper who turned his city's dialect into chart-topping art. Rapping almost entirely in Neapolitan, he became one of Italy's biggest streaming stars and caused a national sensation at Sanremo 2024, where his song I p' me, tu p' te won the televote by a landslide and sparked debate about regional identity in Italian music. He carries the tradition of Naples song into the trap era.
