Kingston-born deejay whose frenetic, hook-driven style made him one of the defining voices of early-2000s dancehall. Tracks like 'Pon De River, Pon De Bank' (2003), 'Willie Bounce' and 'Log On' powered dance crazes across the Caribbean and into North American radio, and his 2003 deal with Atlantic/VP made him one of the first deejays to land a major-label international push.
