Melbourne-formed trans-Tasman band built around Neil Finn's songwriting (ex-Split Enz), with Australian drummer Paul Hester and bassist Nick Seymour. Don't Dream It's Over (1986) and Weather With You (1991) became enduring international hits. The band split in 1996, reunited in 2007 (Hester died in 2005), and continues to tour and record into the 2020s.
