Charlotte Dipanda is the leading voice in Cameroonian francophone pop and one of the country's biggest concert draws. She sings mainly in Douala and Yabassi, setting them against arrangements that borrow from makossa, soul and West African guitar pop. Her Paris shows regularly fill halls that few Central African artists reach. She has recorded with Tayc and Singuila among others.
