Über Bomba Estéreo

Band founded in Bogotá by Simón Mejía and fronted by Liliana Saumet, pioneers of a psychedelic electro-tropical sound rooted in Colombia's Caribbean coast. Mixing cumbia, champeta, and electronica with Saumet's rapped and sung vocals, they broke out internationally with 'Fuego' and 'Soy Yo', the latter an anthem of self-acceptance. They have earned Grammy nominations and toured the world. Their music reframed Colombian folklore for global festival stages.
