BLACKPINK is a four-member girl group formed by YG Entertainment that debuted in August 2016. Comprising Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa, they became one of the most commercially successful K-pop acts worldwide and the first Korean girl group to headline the Coachella festival. Their debut single Boombayah and the 2018 hit Ddu-Du Ddu-Du established their hip-hop-inflected sound, and Ddu-Du Ddu-Du became one of the most-viewed K-pop videos on YouTube. They returned with Kill This Love in 2019 and Pink Venom in 2022.
