BIGBANG is a boy group formed by YG Entertainment in 2006, widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in K-pop history. Known for members writing and producing their own music, they blended hip-hop, R&B, and electronic pop with a fashion-forward image. Their 2007 single Lies was a breakthrough, and later tracks like Fantastic Baby became global anthems that helped push K-pop into Western awareness. After a period of hiatus and lineup changes, they returned in 2022 with the single Still Life.
