About Faudel

Faudel, known as the Little Prince of Rai, was born in Mantes-la-Jolie, France to Algerian parents and became a prominent second-generation voice for rai music in France. He rose to fame alongside Khaled and Rachid Taha at the landmark 1998 concert '1, 2, 3 Soleils' at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. His smooth vocal style and pop-friendly approach brought rai to younger French audiences. Faudel represents the integration of North African musical traditions into mainstream French culture.
